"The front desk staff were the friendliest group of individuals. Always a nod and spoken greeting whether coming into the hotel or leaving. Helpful with recommendations for dining, etc. The location is good; there is a grocery and liquor store just around the corner. Housekeeping was efficient and inconspicuous. There are a few cafes like Box Social down the street. The Hostel also has 24/7 staff and snacks/fingerfood and drinks available. "We liked the location in the central part of Amsterdam. We didn’t like that there was no phone in the room to reach the front desk and there was no coffee maker in the room to make a tea or coffee. We could get very hot water from the front desk if we came down and picked it up. We paid over $550 Canadian a night which should provide a few amenities."

Staff will navigate the stairs with your bag if needed. I was too tired each day coming back to enjoy a cocktail, but they do look amazing. "
