"The front of house staff were unfriendly, unhelpful and did not seem happy with their jobs. All became clear on checkout when I asked the new lady on reception who was the Manager. It turned out to be her and her band was EDWIGE. I asked to leave my luggage and was told that would be 4$. NEVER HAVE I EVER BEEN ASKED by a hotel that I have been staying in to pay for them holding luggage…. I asked on the first day for my bedside lamp to be sorted as it was not working. Two of the front desk said it would be done but it was not attended to. Both shower pressure and temperature needs attention, also lavatory flush. Each time I came down to reception there was another guest who had a problem/ complaint. The drinks case in the foyer only took coins and not credit cards. Reception had no coins. The manager was not interested in knowing about her complaints, in fact refused to give me her full name and hotel email so that I could document the problems I had experienced. I credit her behaviour with why the front of house staff are so depressed and lacking any charm. I don’t often write bad reviews bug this hotel needs to up its game."

"Stayed for 2 nights. Area is great. Lots of good restaurants nearby. Everything is easy walking distance. Hotel is roomy, clean and comfortable. "

"I booked this hotel because I was attending a conference on site and was pleasantly surprised by my experience. It has large, comfortable rooms and lovely gardens around the lobby level. It’s also a short walk from many main tourist spots and multiple public transit options. The only downside is that there can be a line to get on the elevators, which are pretty small, but they move quickly so I never waited for too long. All in all, I’d stay here again if I ever return to Montreal."

"The hotel is unique, not fancy but very nice and comfortable, has everything you need for a comfortable stay, breakfast is simple but good, and the staff (manager and receptionists) very kind and helpful, the process to check in was not easy for me, but I managed to enter the propperty ( at 2 AM) and ultimatelly to my assigned room. The only issue was that the cleaning staff were no actually cleaning the room, they just set the bed with the existing sheet and go, I stayed 11 days and they never cleaned the bathroom. I recomend this hotel and I would stay again, making sure they clean the room often enough."

"Breakfast needs more variation, eggs and meat are too processed, fruits are good and fresh. More flavor of oatmeal should be proposed. The metal chairs in the breakfast room are too loud when some clients care less. The wallways can be loud when school group show up. There should an noise isolation basket at the bottom of the entry door. The bedding are super comfortable, the rooms are clean. They should be some paper plates and wood cutleries ready in the kitchen. The staff is really courteous, Adam was great, the parking is convenient, great location for Chinatown and place des Arts "

"Check-in rapide avec personnel très gentil, chambre propre, lit confortable. Le déjeuner est très bien avec fruits, rôties, céréales, yogourt et oeufs. Super!"
