GreenTree Inn & Suites in Pinetop
6/10 Okay
"Our room had mold in the shower and a significant amount. The sink and tub were cracked so most likely there is moister sitting in there and can be worse than the outside surface. The fan in the bathroom was very loud like it needed to be changed. I ended up cleaning the mold with disinfectant wipes and not using the fan but didn’t like when stepping into the shower it felt like it was going to collapse and no I am not heavy, it was uneven. The beds were nice and soft with good linens. Pillows were comfortable and we did get a goodnight sleep. Not loud from others around us, even being at the end close to the stairs. Donuts at breakfast were delicious, not sure if they come from a local coffee shop or bakery. Same breakfast every day. Bacon, potatoes, eggs and waffles station. I was hoping at least one of the days to have sausage or at least something slightly different. Even stuff to put in waffles would have been okay. Very plain but again served its purpose since we were on the go. We didn’t use the pool or hot tub as it was a busy weekend but seemed as though others liked the indoor option. The staff was friendly and accommodating. Always smiled and treated us when we walked past. Check in/out was simple and easy. The room ultimately served its purpose for the weekend, but cannot give 5 stars due to the bathroom condition."

Hopi Cultural Center
2/10 Terrible
"This was a nightmare! When we arrived it was all closed up, not even one light on. The sign outside said CLOSED FOR MEMORIAL DAY! I called and was given a different number to call as no one was there. Upon calling that number the person who answered didn’t even identify themselves. I was told they put a lock box on the room for which they gave me a code. This hotel was in the middle of no where, so to be there with no one around was completely unacceptable. The restaurant was closed. We had driven for hours through pouring rain and were hungry. We were told that we could get food at a food mart 7 miles away. This whole thing was a nightmare. We decided to not stay and I went back on the app and booked us into a hotel in Tuba City, 60 miles away. They additionally had a restaurant open till 9 pm. I called the Hopi lodge back and told them of our dissatisfaction and that we would not be staying. They hung up on me!!! I certainly hope that I’m not charged for this. They never reached out to tell us they were closed. How were we supposed to know what to do. So unprofessional !! As I stated a nightmare! Definitely would Never recommend this to anyone."

Kayenta Monument Valley Inn
4/10 Poor
"I’m not gonna start this review saying I hate leaving bad reviews because honestly I rarely leave reviews unless something was downright terrible or just absolutely fantastic. This one will be the later. When we arrived, the place was practically deserted that should have been our first warning. When we checked in we were notified that there was no Wi-Fi, which seems particularly odd in such a dead cell phone area and all the fast food restaurants on the strip had Wi-Fi. Upon entering the house room we found; very poor lighting, no over head lighting at all, very poor air circulation with mold or dust on the vents in the bathroom, the bathroom fixtures themselves were loose, and it was hard to turn the handle without pulling it from the wall, there was also a crawlspace entry just above the shower stall that was not sealed, and easily opened. The on-site laundry barely operational with two working washers, but only one working dryer, which after an hour and a hour and half and $3.50 had still not dried our clothes forcing us to hang dry everything in our room. 25 to 30% of the plugs in the room did not function or have power to them. Anything else? On top of all that we were traveling with two pets , which we knew would have extra fees, but we didn’t realize they would be $75 per pet on top of the the room fee and service charges, Do yourself a favor and stay at the Hampton Inn just down the street. They actually have wi-Fi free breakfast and only $98 pet fee for two"

Rusty Buck Inn

"I loved the classic cabin style decor. Very clean. Easy to get in and out of parking. Country store and coffee near by. Great location."

Pinetop Studio Suites
6/10 Okay
"We stayed in the PIP room which is right next to the pool, the little convivence store and the room that house keeping uses. It was very noisy with people coming and going, the house keeping staff talking and laughing right by our door. The couch in the room looked like it was dug out of the dumpster with huge nasty stains all over it. We wouldn't even sit on it. The toilet in the small bathroom is not properly attached to the floor so it rocks a bit. There is no blow dryer like there used to be. We have stayed in this room a few times in the past but it seems to have gone down hill since the last time we were there. Other than the couch the room was clean and the bed is comfortable."

PVC at The Roundhouse Resort
