"Great hotel with friendly staff. Breakfast was freshly cooked with lots of it and was delicious. Although a fan was provided, our room was very hot but our stay did coincide with the hottest days of this year so far. Would definitely stay there again."

"Our Cosy Double was as advertised -small but well furnished and equipped with everything you could need. It was very clean. We had a lovely view of the extensive gardens. The breakfast was delicious, plenty of choice and freshly prepared and great service too. We also had a meal in the bar and that too was very good. "The room was a bit dated with a lot of “brown furniture” and could do with a little update. This was a little disappointing but did not detract from the overall state of the room. The staff were very attentive and nothing was too much effort or trouble. They were friendly and welcoming. We had the “full English” which was well present, full of flavour and hot. "Debra and Drew were very welcoming hosts. We used The Barn as a lauch pad to visit Chartwell and Knole. Perfect choice. The accommodation was beautifully decorated and impeccably clean. We were spoilt for choice regarding local eateries. We chose The White Hart for dinner and it was top knotch. "

"We stayed at Salomons Estate as a group of 12 people. The grounds are lovely, and the facilities are well looked after considering the age and character of the property. The staff were really helpful throughout our stay. Everything was clean, and both the bedrooms and bathrooms were a good size. Although the rooms are a little outdated, the bedding was very comfortable, which made for a pleasant stay overall."

"Overall it was a good stay. The only issue I had was that you have to pay an overnight car parking fee and this wasn’t disclosed on Expedia. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly too."
