"The room smelled like the air conditioner filter had never been changed. The shower curtain bottom was sopped with water. The carpet was covered in debris. The television didn’t work. The nightstand lamp didn’t work and the desk lamp was missing a bulb. The window blinds were covered in filth. It was really bad."

"The property was clean and well maintained. We stayed in room #3 and it was very nice. The breakfast consisted of only a cranberry muffin and Keurig coffee. Most restaurants and businesses in and around the town are closed on Monday and Tuesday."

"One of the reasons that I stay at Hampton Inn is because the beds are so incredibly comfortable, and this visit didn't disappoint. But, what stood out about this Hampton Inn was the breakfast. It was amazing! It was seasoned, there was a variety of food, each day, and it was perfectly prepared and executed. The staff was helpful and even brought out almond milk for my daughter. Another big plus was that the staff were all very friendly and helpful."

"The bar in the lobby with all the seating was a great place for our group to gather. One night someone ordered pizza and that was great, not having to go out. I ordered it the next night and the only problem was that someone not part of our group thought it was free and tried to take off with one. We got it back."

Also, very good coffee which was also a lovely find. Be aware, though, that The Ellery is a motel and is somewhat upscale but not upscale enough for the price. Bathrooms are tiny and there's no place to hang towels. In general, not enough light in the room. Our air conditioner made noise and, while we could finally sleep through...

"Clean . New. Didn't like the fact my door was knocked on at 1100am saying I had to check out when my reservation said noon. The gentleman was rude. And rushed me out of there going so far as to follow me to the office and basically telling me to leave. Very unprofessional. That needs to get cleaned up. Nice place otherwise"

"It was a clean room and had all the amenities, I also liked that they provided some snacks as I came in late night. The only issue I had was when other people closed their doors it sounded like someone was hitting my door."

"First of all I want to start with the positives because there were some. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were well equipped, spacious and clean. Unfortunately that is all the positives. First issue was the staff there were very unhelpful and did not abide by their own rules. The first thing you see, and plastered all over the hotel, are signs stating this is a smoke free hotel. "Everything was good except everytime you flushed the toilet you'd hear a bang and loud whistling for about a minute. During the day it was fine but 4 people in a room cause I have kids, made it basically an alarm everytime someone used the bathroom. I called reported it but they said they didn't hear anything while they were on the ground floor and on the phone. I do have to say the property maintenance guys work hard and do alot to make the property great you can tell they take pride in there...

"Lovely updated property. Small pool and had issues with the AC in the gym but the lovely staff, nice breakfast and clean updated amenities made up for it. I would return."
