Hotel dekat Galeri New School House

"2rd stay at this hotel. Refused upgrade said not available. Had to argue for a 1 1/2 hour late checkout we did get a one hour late( why not give the extra 1/2 hour we asked for. No free parking mentioned. We never ate at this hotel too expensive. The bar is small and difficult to find a seat except spillover in hall. Bar staff were very nice but to busy to talk and drinks were crazy expensive. The bathroom sink only produced scalding hot water or cold.😡 For a five star we expected better...

"We stayed in the Bootham suite, the room was light and airy and had a lovely small balcony to enjoy the sunshine. The four poster bed was very comfy and there was a small seating area to relax in. Breakfast was very good, everything is a la carte and the staff were very attentive. The hotel is in a great location, very easy walking distance into York but also very quiet and peaceful. The Pantry is a really nice touch but it was a shame that there wasn't a fridge in the room to keep drinks cool....

It was extremely spacious, had comfy bed and pillows, a view of the Minister, and a bath to soak in. The amenities are very well thought out and made me feel cared for (fluffy robe and slippers, washcloths, complimentary sparkling water and chocolates, quality bathroom products, and eye mask and earplugs - didn't need them because it was very quiet at night). "Lovely clean, modern rooms. Breakfast was a bit of a riot but lots of options. Excellent location close to great shops and restaurants."

The people in the room next to us were loudly talking into the early hours of the night which was so frustrating, so we didn't sleep well. But not the fault of the hotel. "
