"I loved my stay at Malmaison!! Apart from the novel concept, the property was very beautiful and well-maintained, it was centrally located, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. I was nervous about the lack of AC in standard cell rooms during the heatwave, but the building’s cooling system + fan was incredibly effective. We were also provided with complimentary water due to the heat, which was a game changer. I would definitely stay here again"

"Red Mullions Guest House genuinely feels like a home away from home. Reception was warm and inviting-room was clean and comfortable. Location is very convenient in Oxford (there is a bus stop across the street!) but quiet enough to be away from the heart of Oxford (which is a short bus ride away). "The bed was broken or not put together. We spent all night putting the bed back together. It was apparently two single beds. It was a nightmare as my daughter had exams needed a good nights sleep. I told them that before we arrived. There was mould on the shower . I am asthmatic!Strange staircase which did not help my mobility issues. All night people walking and partying Above and keeping us awake all night! My daughter went to the exam with 2 hours sleep and failed the exam. All of the above...

"Excellent stay at Head of the River. Lovely rooms and lovely staff, who made us feel very welcome. We were lucky to have had gorgeous weather which allowed us to enjoy drinks by river together with a delicious lunch as well as an equally delicious Sunday roast. The breakfast is generous and we were spoilt for choice. We would recommend without hesitation and look forward to returning soon."
