Overall, this was a really disappointing experience. The lobby itself is beautiful and has a great ambience, and the staff were polite. The rooms were clean and the basic amenities were fine. However, the biggest issue was that the hotel did not deliver what was advertised on Expedia. The room we received looked much older and more worn than the photos online and was definitely not in the same condition that was promised. We also specifically booked a suite with queen beds, but when we arrived we were given two double beds instead. When we brought this up, the hotel did not accommodate us and still charged the same price we originally paid, saying it wasn’t their problem since the booking was through Expedia. Another major downside was the parking. Because the garage is connected to the hotel, it costs $52 per day. If you take your car out during the day and need to re-enter, you are charged another $52. That’s in U.S. dollars, which makes it even more expensive for international travelers once conversion rates are considered. Overall, while the lobby and staff were nice, the room quality and the lack of flexibility with the booking made the stay not worth the price. I would not recommend staying here if you’re expecting the rooms to match the photos online.

It’s a decent hotel. I booked it at a very good price so it’s definitely worth it. The room is clean and staffs are always friendly and helpful, even though it was an extremely busy time. The only thing I don’t like is the location, since it’s near Times Square, gets very chaotic

The hotel was filthy, and the room had a persistent musty odor. In all my travels, I have never encountered such poor conditions. It isn’t worth even a hundred dollars a night. Think long and hard before booking here!

Beware!! Search Park Central hotel Smoking fee. I do vape but outside only and not in front of my wife or kids. I only went downstairs to smoke and was shocked and blindsides by a $500 smoking fee. The manager was dismissive, kept my receipt and said would adj the destination fee only when I swore I didnt vape in the room. Our heater was too high and couldn’t seem to go lower so we slept with window open both nights and I asked if that or the curling irons could cause a false positive. She said no and no refunds. I asked for a copy of the test because how do u know a cleaning person didn’t since it wasn’t us and this seems like a scam and was told I would get an email or call in about an hour and never did. when I called. 3 hours later nothing, called again and no call back with results. Called a third time just to get my receipt and another person said they would email me one and I made them read back my email and nothing. I will file a bbb complaint next and stop cc payment and whatever else I can do. There are hundreds of claims such as this posted all over.

The property was close to subways to take you anywhere in the city that was fast and affordable. The hotel is close to Central Park and time square. The hotel offers a discount from local places which was very nice. Heaven on 7th had great slices and offered discounts. The front desk staff was not as polite as cheaper places, but the rest of the staff were amazing. The rooms were clean, but our room had a terrible air conditioner and it was very hot during winter our entire stay. Request a refrigerator if you want to store food or keep cold drinks. They only provide to those who request one.

Close to the Today show plaza. What an amazing experience. Get there by 6:00 am if you want to get shown on the show.

We stayed at the hotel in early March and the thermostat was set to only allow the heater to be on and we would have preferred to run the air conditioning in the room as my husband prefers a cooler room for sleeping. The beds were a little hard for our liking as well. Otherwise, a great hotel stay and the staff were fantastic and very helpful.

If you are planning to stay in a hotel with an infant, Park Central Hotel New York is not for you, keep looking for a better option. I contacted the Park Central Hotel New York a week before my arrival to make sure there would be a refrigerator in my room. My 2-month-old baby needs formula, and I must keep it refrigerated to prevent it from spoiling. They told me they'd provide a refrigerator in my room for an additional fee, but when I arrived, they told me all the refrigerators were already reserved. My situation was considered a medical emergency because I had no other food for my 2-month-old, but the guy they called "the engineer" said my best option was to buy a mini-fridge on Amazon. Man, that sounds ridiculous! I paid for breakfast, but they didn't give me meal cards when I checked in. A tip for anyone staying at the Park Central Hotel in New York: tell them you paid for breakfast so they give you meal cards when you check in and you don't have to go back and get them, like I did. I booked a Deluxe room and got a room with a draft coming from every window! The only heater was a fan heater under the window and it wasn't working good enough, so we slept in our jackets the first night. The carpets were dirty and stained, and the bathroom door was scratched, as if a dog had been scratching it. I can't even imagine what a regular room would have been like instead of a Deluxe! On the second day, I asked reception for an extra blanket because we were freezing cold.

Room staff was great! Kept room straightened. Were missing some towels but they were quick to get. Restaurant was tasty and service was awesome. Great location. Would definitely come back. Lobby staff were helpful and personable

The bathroom was in poor condition. The mirror was broken and the elevator situation was a nightmare.

Amazing area. Close to everything. The hotel could have more amenities/ game room. The cafe downstairs needs to be open longer.

I was concerned about cleanliness given all the recent reviews about filthy rooms, but the room was plenty clean if a bit run down. I had a premier king, which was quite spacious by NYC standards. The two issues I had were the water never got hot in the bathroom and there were crazy lines to go up in the elevator and someone had to let us down in the service elevator because the down elevator was packed to the max each time it came. Shout out to Mariah (MOD?) on Saturday night. She was so helpful to everyone who needed anything. Girl Boss!

If you're looking for location, comfortable beds, larger room options this is the hotel. I booked queen double corner room & it was perfect. Location from Central park, dining options & tourist spots places this hotel in the perfect location and price range.

The room was a bit dirty and the bed I slept in had a huge concave in it but I was so tired and it was located in a great spot
