The room was small and clean. Nothing fancy. HVAC didn’t seem to be operating properly but there was a fan and we could open the window. Could use a mattress topper because the bed was HARD Also some hooks. Otherwise, for the price, it’s a decent option. Staff was nice about getting us extra pillows

I would first say that this hotel is bare bones. The room has a comfortable bed and a bathroom. No chair or table and not enough hooks for clothes (if you have a coat or other outer clothes.) The shower stall had no door, which meant the tiny bathroom was wet-ish. Having said this, the bed was comfy, the window shade was completely dark and the mural on the wall was very cool. Breakfast was meh, but we didn’t expect much based on other reviews. For an inexpensive place to stay, the place was fine and the location was good for Barclay’s and the subway.

Clean, air condition room. Good staff, NYC bagels for breakfast. Location is within walking distance to a lot of restaurants, delis, and downtown.

So, it’s very much what you pay for. The rooms are deceptively tiny, with zero amenities to them. The tv is hung poorly, if not concerningly on the wall. The bathroom sink and mirror were in the bedroom, strange. Walls are crazy thin, and you hear everyone. There were stains on just about every fabric and the blankets were just dingy. There were only two pillows on the bed, both of which didn’t match and were painfully thin. And lastly, the bed itself was like sleeping on a gym mat; incredibly hard. Saving grace was the staff were kind and they had nice, light breakfast spread.

If you’re spending the night or two in Brooklyn and you just need to clean centrally located spot to go out and do your thing this is the place! PS bagels are in the basement

clean room great staff great air conditioning there is a complimentary breakfast there but I didn't really partake on it but It looked good. The only weird thing was there wasn't a full closing shower door for the shower And that took some time to get it used that. other than that great time,I would highly recommend the place

Good hotel. Checked in late on. Fine spot for exploring new York and a reasonable price compared to the city centre. Ideal for Brooklyn Bridge etc plus easy subway access. Nice wee bagel in morning. Hallways need a bit of a paint. But was a fine place to stay.

When you visit NYC, unless you’ve got kids or other needs, you don’t need a lot of space! The room was perfect to recharge/change/rest in between activities and events. Comfy bed, clean shower, and a/c with the fan was nice to drown out summer noise. The shower could use a curtain or something to better contain water.

The rooms are simplistic, but adequate for traveller. Bed very comfy and showers decent and water is hot. Breakfast is ideal to keep you going muffins, bagels tea or coffee in a small basement area at the hotel.
