"Property was nice and clean. Parking lot right besides the house. Restaurant downstairs to dine, which unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance to make it to. I was bummed, a lot of locals said the food was delicious! We stayed there for a wedding. Rooms are small basically just a room and bathroom. Not much walking room but we just stayed there to sleep and shower so it was fine for us. And all I cared was that it was clean, which it was ! Only recommendation is to put a full length mirror for...

"I should have taken other recent reviews to heart. The property is overgrown; the path stones are broken, and weeds grow right under my patio doors, making them difficult to open.
I received a message saying no one would be there to greet me, but that a packet with information and my room keys would be on the front desk. I arrived around 1:30 and found the envelope with my first and last name and my room displayed on the front. So much for privacy (or safety). The lobby has a musty/mildew...

"It’s a small in with a restaurant below. The restaurant must be very good as Friday night. It was very crowded. There’s a key code to get in after 9:30. There’s also a.
Kitchen station on the floor with the rooms that has a fridge, microwave sink. The refrigerator is stocked with fruit juices bagels muffins waters and yogurt. You can also serve yourself coffee or tea. The room was light and airy and a nice size. The bathroom was quite small but, all you really need for a short stay."

"We were at the Avon Inn for a very brief overnight stay, motivated by history behind the institution. As the sole remaining hotel from Avon's history as a destination for its springs, it is still the center of a lovely small town. Service was friendly and efficient and we would have been glad to spend another day or two there."
