"The room was spacious with 2 individual beds and a bunk bed for the kids, small kitchenette and efficient bathroom. The hotel offers a wide variety of amenities and loaner items in case you forgot something. The hotel is located within 10 minutes from. Nijo castle and a subway station. Bus 29 stops in front of Nijo castle and takes you to Kinkaku-ji temple. We would definitely stay here again!"

"The room smells like it has a bad drainage system. Once we enter the room and it smells like the toilet has been backed up. The fabric spray provided was useless. Attitude of staff were mixed, some discrimination were definitely present. Felt harrassed by the staff to settle the bill due to deciding to have extra guest in the room which we also had already decided to pay for. "

"Great location within walking distance to the old Gion neighborhoods and some shrines/temples. Easy access to amenities and shopping. Kiyomozudera is about a 15-20 minute walk so it’s very convenient but it gets busy midday with lots of tourists. The staff was very nice and helpful- letting us check-in early. The room was nice and modern but some things were dirty like the cushion covers (needs to be laundered since there are stains on it) and Toto toilet remote control."

"I stayed in room for 4 people, 2 twin beds and 2 futon beds. Room is spacious for japanese standard and beautifully decorated. Convenience store just next to the hotel building. Walkable distance to popular Gion, Kiyomizu dera and Kodaiji temple. Everything is excellent. Thank you Minn Gion."

"The room was decent sized. Had a folding wall to turn the room into 2 rooms between the 2 beds. Has a refrigerator that stays really cold, electric stove, microwave, and washer with separate drying room. Detergent was provided along with kitchen supplies. Slippers and robes for all guests. I took a star off because the beds were quite hard. Besides that it was a great stay and location is about a 5 min walk from the train entrance and grocery nearby."
