"No elevator, usually it says in the description of the property, they left that out. Showers were very small, and bed was lumpy. Breakfast was skimpy, but at least they had fresh squeezed orange juice, but it wasn’t worth what they charged."

"I can't say enough about the staff. The were very friendly and helpful. The property itself was fairly new and well maintained. The stay includes a reasonably nice breakfast and access to an assortment of snacks and libations in the evening. This is a great property to use as a base for day trips (by car) to sites in Normandy. We used it to visit D-Day historical sites as well as to visit beautiful Mont-Sant-Michel. "Lovely hotel, room was quaint with beamed ceilings. Bathroom was large but only had a bathtub and handheld shower. Had an excellent dinner as well a lovely breakfast full of many options. It was a short walk into town. Overall a beautiful property on beautiful grounds. Would stay again!"

"The room and property were beautiful and well kept. The receptionist was friendly and helpful. The bar was not staffed in the evening and so we drove into town. "

"The staff at the Brit were extremely welcoming and the hotel room was clean and comfortable. Disappointed we were not able to have a hot drink in the room. Despite there being a kettle and tea/coffee they only provided small shot glasses for drinks which was extremely odd! There was also no fridge in the room which we needed to keep milk for our baby. "

"This is the second time we’ve stayed here when travelling on the Caen ferry and arriving late, and it was lovely. The family rooms are very comfortable and uniquely decorated. Buffet breakfast is easy and quick. There’s a lovely garden for the kids to run around "

"This is a very comfortable hotel. We stayed a second time as a couple, to use as a base to visit WW2 sites. Ideal. The staff are very welcoming. Great breakfast available, evening meal if requested. Bar. Near the sea with several restaurants near by, check opening times out of season. Highly recommended."
