"Clean, helpful and friendly hosts who knew my name. A great breakfast included with even freshly carved ham. No air conditioning but based on probability not a great issue. No fridge. They should highlight the close availability of public transport to and from St Ives where it is impossible to get a parking spot."

"We had a very enjoyable 2-night stay with Hannah and Andy. Our room Was sparkly clean, very well equipped with all you expect from a classic bed and breakfast. Our beds were comfortable, bathroom was spacious. Breakfast was plentiful and well cooked. We felt very warm hospitality from the hosts. Hopefully will stay there again when we go to Cornwall."

"Room was adequate and clean with a quirkie toilet under the stairs behind the door inside the room that I hadn’t noticed. Sarah is lovey, friendly and a really lovely host, however should be a little more direct and forceful of her rules ( ie check out times and parking). Parking is not the best as when full at least 2 cars will be blocked in completely - and annoyingly she kept trying to encourage me to park round the corner on the road- which I did not want to do ( hence booking a b&b with car...

"Ich war auf dem SWCP und habe hier zwei Nächte verbracht und habe den Bus zu den Ausgangspunkten bzw zurück genommen. Das Zimmer war vollkommen in Ordnung, alles soweit sauber, auch wenn man auch an einigen Dingen merkt., dass das Haus schon älter ist und in letzter Zeit eher wenig investiert wurde. WC, Dusche und Waschbecken waren neu gemacht, aber das Rollo im Bad war schon älter, und außerdem zieht es etwas, was mich nicht gestört hat. Parken umsonst, tolle lage mit super Garten und...

"Had a lovely stay at Pengelly Farmhouse. A beautiful properly, spotlessly clean and lovely thoughtful touches. Homemade biscuits were lovely and even some treats for our dog. Breakfast was delicious with plenty of choice and perfectly cooked! We will most definitely be back again, thank you!"

"I don’t usually write reviews, but this was one of the best run hotels I have ever stayed in. If anyone wants to see how a b&b should be run, then book this hotel. Sue and her husband were lovely, the hotel was immaculately clean, and breakfast was superb. It was a pleasure to stay there, and I would definitely recommend. Well done Sue, I wish every b&b was like yours."

"A warm welcome from Jenny. Excellent breakfasts. A characterful property of considerable age with slightly quirky elements: who would expect statues of a Buddha and komodo dragon in a former abbey? Our en suite room room was spacious and clean. The large bed looked a little antique, but was very comfortable. Many would join us in liking like that mix of character and comfort."
