"Overall the stay was excellent the hosts were amazing and flexible suggesting places to eat for dinner nearby. The breakfast was delicious. The room was to a high standard and the bathroom was clean with a great shower. Only two reasons it didn’t get a 5 star. The road into the hotel is a dirt track and we had heavy rain and the potholes or rather gorges were filled with water and impossible to see how deep. "First, I called the hotel a day prior to our arrival and a receptionists named Chloe was very polite, kind and able to help us with our booking that we made through Expedia. When we arrived, it was Chloe who helped and informed us about the hotel, amenities, carpark and room booking. She is very knowledgeable. Thank you Chloe. The Room that was given to us was a family room which is very clean, comfortable beds, with two big mirrors and a comdortable single sofa seat which added to the elegance...

"Stayed here for 3 nights over bank holiday. The place is so nice. Lovely staff. Very attentive there is a bar, cocktail bar, restaurant, rooms all greatly decorated. Food very great. Would definitely stay here again"

"Road to the place was verg bad. 6inch deep potholes. Pulled into very muddy car park. Was shown to the room which was via a dangerous very badly lit outside staircase. I fell over in the dark via a very bad step, injuring my arm. Ws wers so dissapointed that we left early without breakfast. The room itself, although old fashioned, was acceptable and comfortable. Hiwevef, we cannot comment about breakfast as ws did not stay. Very disappointing experience overall."

"We were very well looked after by Shaan & Sef who must be the one prepared our breakfast which was freshly made and ample every morning . The room was clean and spacious enough for us & our dog Rocky. Tumbleweed is a good place to stay for a few days to visit the local attractions, such as Sherwood Forest, nearby. It is a heaven for dog owners and joggers. I jogged with my dog along the Well Lane & The Avenue every morning and walked my dog on the couple of bridal ways nearby in the evening....

"Room clean on arrival. No room cleans as stated but no comp breakfast bag which is detailed in the booklet in the room. Overall good but a lot of money for room only & no services provided but not a lot of choice in the area & v close to friends so paid for the convenient location"
