"Facilities good but no staff very impersonal. No check in desk just sent a PIN number via e mail to access the accommodation Had to speak to t bar staff downstairs. For advice No lift allocated a room on the second floor had to lug heavy suitcases up several flights of stairs no body to help us . Would not stay here again"

"Friendly and accommodating when we need to leave the car prior to an event and before check in at 3pm. Breakfast was reasonable and part of a deal booked through Expedia. When asked for fresh items, provided these. Had gf options also for breakfast. Reception open 24 hours but no out of hours food options on our return on Sunday as advertised or informed. Bar available and reasonably priced. Have used the same hotel when visiting area before and would happily return."

"Getting into car park when coming from town centre could be better signposted. Room was fine, minor lighting issues, having a fan was good as very muggy."

"We had a great stay at The School House. The room was very comfortable and Helen was very helpful in providing a delicious breakfast so we could leave promptly to see the Manchester Marathon. There is a pleasant walk nearby (recommended by Helen) and we had a great meal at The Fox - just a short walk away. "

"A pleasant 2-night stay in a Superior Family Room! Clean bathroom, tea, coffee, decent sized cups AND half pint beer glasses also! A large TV that actually lets you log into Netflix and comfortable beds also! Bonus! Perfect for our weekend stay! "The hotel is not 4 star hotel for sure. Room dump and smelly. Breakfast not fantastic is independent who is in the kichen. We tray 2 day same food but 2 day the food presentation, and cooking is different. The big bonus is swimming pool. Hotel nothing around need car.so for cheap options is ok otherwise not"
