"Room smelled like mold. Bed was uncomfortable. Furniture was falling apart. Wall paper was coming off the wall. The place just looked like there is a lack of up keep. Some of the staff were not helpful at all. The casino was nice. I probably won't go back."

"This was one of the most expensive hotels in the area, so I expected a much higher level of service. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. The check-in process was unnecessarily slow, and the valet parking service was even worse. After requesting my vehicle, I waited nearly 50 minutes under the hot summer sun. Watching guests who arrived after me receive their cars first tested my patience. When I finally went to ask about the status of my vehicle, I discovered that no one had even gone to retrieve it yet because my car was blocked in by other vehicles. When I complained, I was given the unbelievable explanation that they had over 200 keys and it was difficult to locate mine. Only after I continued to press the issue did they finally bring my car about 20 minutes later. While the room itself was spacious, clean, and well-maintained, the service was surprisingly unprofessional and disorganized for a hotel at this price point. To make matters worse, the air conditioning unit was so loud that it made it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience fell far below expectations. Although the property itself has some positive qualities, the poor service and lack of attention to guests left a lasting negative impression. Unfortunately, I would not choose to stay here again."

"We booked our room to have a river view and definitely didn’t get that but we were so exhausted that I just took my loss. The cigarette smell was overwhelming as soon as you walk into the hotel and carried through the elevators and hallways. It’s a gorgeous place but I felt nasty from the smoke smell."

"Excellent hotel. Room was clean, spacious, and well-lit. Everything worked. Bed was particularly good. Shower was a bit slippery and I was glad there were some sturdy grab bars. Parking can be a little tough. Not a criticism, just a FYI because it's a bit unusual: there are a lot of restaurants nearby but it's mostly fast food or local restaurants. Most mid-tier chain restaurants are on the other side of the metro area."

"The hotel was fairly nice, but bring your heavy winter coat because your room will be freezing cold when you get there! Your breakfast, while tasty will be stone cold by the time you get to your table. There was also a noticeable bad smell in the hallways, like the smell of sewer gas. I don't think this property deserves being rated in the 8.0 - 9.0 range. It really was in the 7.5 range. I wish I had known there was a Hampton Inn right next to this property when I booked, because I would have stayed there."
