"Inn of the Governors is clearly iconic for a reason. Unfortunately, for me, that doesn’t excuse paying a fairly decent price for an okay room. There were many positives including the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff, they were wonderful. The bed was very comfortable, parking was fabulous, shower water pressure was nice, the fireplace was super cute and kept us warm all night, and soo many places within walking distance. However, I just couldn’t shake the feeling of “that’s it?” when I walked into the room. Overall, a great stay and I would recommend staying here."

"We've always loved Drury's breakfasts & Kick Back service. The hotel was very nice and the staff were always helpful. It would've been nice to enjoy the rooftop bar area, but apparently it doesn't open until May (we were there the end of March). The restaurant in the hotel is also very nice with great food options that we would've also liked to have had access to for lunches, but they are closed until 5pm everyday. "

"This hotel is right off the highway so easy on and off access. There is plenty of parking and the staff are friendly. Our room was good size but there were a couple of issues. The toilet wouldn’t flush, but maintenance came right up and fixed it, we found someone else’s sock on the floor near the bed and when I went to make tea in the coffee pot there was already water in it. Other than that we were happy with the room especially for the price. They have a complimentary breakfast with fruit, yogurt, bagels, blueberry muffins, pancakes, coffee and juice. There is no restaurant but you can eat at the Crown Plaza next door and your key gets you into the hotel there as well. If you are looking for an inexpensive place to stay when you are on the road this is a good choice."

"Staff was nice but rooms were VERY dark.heater was very loud. There was almost no dog safe space with any Real pooping space. Finally, and worst of all was the absolutely repulsive breakfast. Everything was cold and mostly taste free. Employees were too busy talking or eating with other people. We had to stop and get get breakfast at Starbucks. Can't believe you charged us fir it. Needs many changes."
