"It smelled like weed"

"The only thing about our stay that I can say was nice was the staff, they were all VERY kind. Everything else was an absolute nightmare! My 14yr old son & myself were at the Pond on location and a man exposed himself to us, urinating while looking right at us. I filed a report with the manager. There was garbage, cigarette butts and beer bottles/cans everywhere. The outdoor pool was green and had garbage floating in it. Our shower in our room leaked so bad that if the curtain wasn't shut, the...

"The drinks and dog food froze in the fridge overnight. The shower rod droops so the curtain doesn’t stay closed. Our keys worked in the evening but not the next morning. We had to turn on the electric connection cord to turn on the AC. Just happened to figure that out. A $100 refundable deposit was required!!! The breakfast was very skimpy. The juice drink machine was out of order. My guess is it had been that way for a while."

"Booked a queen suite. Got put on the top floor with no working elevators and zero notice, and due to it being in a bad neighborhood and reviews reporting vehicle break-ins, we had to take all our belongings inside and needed to carry it all up 4 flights of stairs with our baby. Got to our room and the air wasn’t working in the bedroom, and the thermostat read nearly 80 degrees but the air unit wouldn’t kick on. There were no other suites available, so we had to move to a non-suite room and...

"The staff was lovely. The breakfast was fine, and they made good efforts to constantly top up the hot dishes. That air conditioning, though... while the room was cool it was also very clammy. The sheets felt damp, the carpet felt damp, and no amount of fiddling with the AC dried the room out. Other than that it was a good experience. Don't forget to tip when you leave, the cleaning staff was works very hard!"

"First room had one curtain that was held on by one hook only and did not cover the whole window. The window itself was very dirty with a stain across most of it. View from the window was of a tent on a pallet occupied by a homeless person on the hotel property. No remote for tv either. Second room had two curtains, I guess the upgrade package! No shower curtain, no fridge, no tv and most amazing of all.... No lightbulbs in the lamps"
