"We normally stay at this hotel when we at we in the area as it is always well maintained and in the same location as a large mall. There are two entrances, 1st and 2nd floors, to the mall. We normally step out to a small restaurant just inside the mall area called Corner Bakery Cafe on the 2nd floor, for breakfast as they open at 6:00am. "

"We did a quick 2 day visit to Dallas....I booked the hotel before looking at reviews and was a little scared to go after reading them. But it wasn't as bad as the reviews said.....now the hotel IS OLD and in need of an upkeep! It smells like old carpet in some spots....but that was my only complaint. The room was nice and clean and the Happy Hour they give everyday from 530-7pm was so nice. Its in a good area and honestly I would stay there again."

"Room was clean, staff was amazing, air conditioning was great in the rooms, breakfast was not up to par. Pool is closed til memorial weekend, in Dallas when the weather is 90* the kids were not happy about that, they did suggest the ymca."

"The room was dusty on some surfaces as well as the curtains and there were no towels upon check-in. I was asked to go to the front desk to pick up towels rather than them bringing them to my room. There was a separate daily charge for parking which just felt like a nickel and dime tactic. "

"Breakfast variety was not a big selection. Egg muffins had no taste and were cold, egg sandwiches also had no taste or seasoning. Pancakes were good. Potatoes were still hard. I honestly did not enjoy the food except the cereal and pancakes. We were excited about getting in the pool but the water was very very cold so could not enjoy that either. The hotel itself is very nice and clean though."
