"The pictures may be some years old. The pictures may have been older. The theme is exact. The view from the balcony is not like in the pictures. There are buildings all around it now the room was clean. The property just looks dated. The staff is amazing worth what you pay. smoking allowed in the common areas, just not in the room"

"Great location, pool was wonderful for kids. Would have been nice to know about the trolley in Gatlinburg, it’s free and easy to use. We didn’t know about it till the end of our stay. Hotel is in a good location, has beautiful scenic views! Hotel is on a really steep long hill, so there is no walking to anything. Rooms are very nice, but poor lighting. There is an extra fee at desk with check in, cost was higher than it was with hotels.com. Additional parking fee also added, which we were aware of prior to arrival."

"Slightly outdated decor. But it is intended to look like a light and it does. Room had a gas fireplace which was nice. Beds were comfortable. Balconies are small. Overlooked the Little Pigeon River. We saw a bear in the river which was cool. It is right night to the Peddler Steakhouse which is what we went for!"
