The staff are so lovely and the rooms are always in impeccable condition with a wide variety of ammenities that I still keep being pleasantly surprised by. "I have stopped in some dives over my years but this place takes the biscuit. Half the lights didn't work. No milk in the fridge. The heat pump didn't work properly so it was constantly cold. I appeared the carpets had not been vacuumed. Perhaps they should re-name the Hotel to Paupers gate Hotel.
And please hotel proprietors please don't send one of those generic concern responses I'm not interested. Instead you you should take the time to clean up your very poor hotel."

"I always try and stay here when I’m in Wellington but wow the property is starting to age. Tiles coming away in the shower, damaged sinks, frayed bedding and damaged carpets at entryways and stains everywhere. It really needs an upgrade already. Not worth what they charge anymore even though the location is amazing and the overall vibe is still awesome. "
