"The location was easy to find using satnav and the access is very easy. There is ample parking in a quiet location. An unusual feature is that all rhe rooms are purpose built modern units detached from the much older public house part which also houses the restaurant. There is also a beer garden area with some shade. The benefit of this layout is that there are no staircases or lifts to navigate to get to your room. My room was exceptionally large, and my first impression was how cool it felt...

"The hotel is in an excellent position, just off a main road, but on a quiet lane. 15 mins walk in to town. Rooms are modern with aircon, tea, coffee etc. What really makes the hotel excellent is the staff, from the cleaners, bar staff, receptionist, they were so genuinely helpful and friendly. We had a lovely stay, thank you."

"Loved the children’s free ice or fruit . Children’s play area at breakfast. Dog friendly. Loved the warm pool and hot tub. I’m diabetic and had a low blood sugar. The man at the pool helped me . The lady at the bar read the list of about 15 favourers of ice cream . She was lovely. We had stay for funeral in the area . Would stay again"

"Lovely location and tranquil setting. However our stay did not include breakfast and at £13 each we gave it a miss. Plenty of parking outside, although there were very few staff around, we had to call the hotel to get someone at reception."

"There isn't anything I liked . The hotel was awful, staff unhelpful even after we complained. The manger was useless and unhelpful. The shower was broken bed side cabinet was also broken . Draw stuck out the side of bed . It would not close . I kept catching my leg on it . The headboard was dirty . The stairs was very steep. Not the best hotel. won't stay again . Meals was awful . "We stayed for a short weekend in Norfolk, decided on this stunning hotel. Was welcomed nicely in by the reception desk staff, room was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. Woke up to a lovely breakfast buffet both mornings. The golf course was impressive to see, even though we don’t play it ourselves. Had our final evening at the bar which had lovely drinks menu and bar snacks. Young waiter who chatted with us was so polite and funny. The only downside was that the pool was closed for...
