"I came back and am booked to come back again! Feel really welcome: my dog was immediately drawn in by Bella, the new addition to the Griffin household. It's the atmosphere here, the good quality food, the Battle of Britain ale, good dog-walking nearby, then team running the place, their location in the middle of Norfolk - great breakfast (thanks Charlotte), cooked to order. "There isn't anything I liked . The hotel was awful, staff unhelpful even after we complained. The manger was useless and unhelpful. The shower was broken bed side cabinet was also broken . Draw stuck out the side of bed . It would not close . I kept catching my leg on it . The headboard was dirty . The stairs was very steep. Not the best hotel. won't stay again . Meals was awful . I arrived late due to being held up at work so called ahead, the chap on the phone was kind enough to wait 1hr30 past the check-in deadline for me to get there, thank you! Had only booked the single room for 1 night, while the room could be classed as a little snug it was nothing less than very comfortable. The room is very well presented and incredibly clean, bed was super comfy and bathroom was spotless and of a decent size. Paid extra for the Full English...

"There’s a strange way of getting to some of the rooms where you have to go downstairs before eventually climbing back up. The hotel itself is very well maintained although I’d wonder if the golf course sometimes takes a little of the priority."

"The location was easy to find using satnav and the access is very easy. There is ample parking in a quiet location. An unusual feature is that all rhe rooms are purpose built modern units detached from the much older public house part which also houses the restaurant. There is also a beer garden area with some shade. The benefit of this layout is that there are no staircases or lifts to navigate to get to your room. My room was exceptionally large, and my first impression was how cool it felt...

"Staff were very helpful even found me an iron as we were going to a family wedding. The rooms were clean and tidy, and comfy bed. They thought of everything yoghurts, butter, bread milk, juice, cereal if you require an early start. Otherwise a beautifully cooked English breakfast by Duncan all fresh produce and tea or coffee. Would deffo stay there again👍"
