"The place is in dire need of a makeover. In the bathroom... No exhaust fan... Hinges and towel racks are rusted... Wall paper is peeling off the walls... Tub/shower faucet is connected wrong. Hot is cold and Cold is hot... Door has noticeable cracks. The front half of the room had no lights. Until this place get renovated, I will not stay there again."

"The Stannard Inn is an absolute jewel box on the Connecticut shoreline! It is a beautifully decorated coastal chic Captain’s home with thoughtfully appointed guests rooms and public areas. The Innkeepers were so deliberate with the amenities they offered and we could not have been more comfortable or felt more welcome. Will definitely be back again"

"The bedding smelled and the mattress was old. The rugs in the hallways were old and smelled . There was an odor throughout the motel. The staff was friendly and the price was reasonable but I will never book an Econo Lodge again. Extremely disappointed"

"We really enjoyed 2 nights at Westbrook Inn. The bed is comfortable, breakfast is delicious, house is beautiful, staff is supper kinda and helpful. Overall Westbrook is a cute town and we certainly feel rejuvenated and happy in this anniversary trip."

"The Niantic Inn is a perfect representation of what old small town Niantic had to offer with a vibrant modern upgrade in restaurants and entertainment! We loved our stay. Not a chain hotel. More like a seaside oasis! Beach passes are available to Hole in the Wall Beach as well. Sounds awful I know! But it's a Beach like no other in CT.Just like I remembered it growing up in Niantic! Not to mention the Niantic Bay Boardwalk that you can access from the beach. Support this place, it is small and...

"Perfection! Location is gorgeous…sunrise is spectacular over the bay. Pontoon boat to breakfast in the a.m. and wine and cheese at cocktail hour."

"We did not end up staying here. We drove into the parking lot and drove right back out. I wasn't expecting much for the price. However, it looked like a homeless shelter. One of the doors looked like someone had tried to break in, and they just taped it up. It was scary looking. I would rather have slept in my car than stay here for even 1 night."

"The building and grounds need maintenance. There's rotting window sills and rain damage on the ceiling, spots of bleach on the carpets and the doorknob of a closet came off in my hand. The TV in the room is incredibly small, the size of a computer screen. You don't come to a hotel to watch TV but like showers, you expect a nice experience. The breakfasts were ok, but not great."
