"I really loved the location of the Hotel Swartz off. As soon as I walked in, the hotel was very clean and everyone was very sweet and helpful. The rooms were very spacious, but the bathroom was a little tight for two to fit in there. "Rooms finish before they start. They switch off the air cons in night time and make customers swelter in hot weather. They say it’s climate emergency. Breakfast buffet is absolutely horrible. No variety at all. Better off to eat off street. People pull long faces. Nobody smiles at this hotel. Staff is so aloof that they get angry that somebody has come to their hotel. Rooms are so small that they don’t even have a chair and a desk to sit. One of the worse hotels I have stayed."

"The staff was super helpful. They even offered to park my car even though they don’t have valet service. The location was excellent and very close to the center of the old town and walkable to all the sites. The building itself is 500 years old, so there are some unavoidable creaks and old bones."

"The view was beautiful. There was a strong sewer smell in the shower that was almost unbearable. We loved Luzern and the property is located in an excellent area of the city. Just be prepared for it to be extremely hot (no AC) but that’s common for Europe. The directions said to access the property for the back side but there is an entrance from the lake side as well"
