"Just because I had a well priced personal deal through Expedia that shouldn’t have meant that I got awhat looked like the worst room up a flight of stairs that felt like the servants quarters, that had mould and mildew around the window and in the bathroom. Room desperately in need of refurbishment. Although I had read that the hotel had a lift, which was essential for my needs, there was no mention in the description that this room was stairs only access. "This hotel was well kept and the room was clean. The reception team were helpful and polite. The grounds were well kept also. The rest of the hotel I wasn’t as impressed with. We were “selected” for an upgrade “offered” for an additional £20 but upon checking this it was the usual rate on Expedia, so hardly an offer! The room was very basic and it was a superior room, I dread to see the standard room. The shower was designed for someone under 5,8ft as I had to crouch to get under it. We asked...

"Nice hotel in beautiful surroundings however the decor is very tired. The staff were very friendly and hospitable and the leisure facilities were good. There is a very limited food menu on offer in the bar and the quality of the food was mediocre at best."

"Where do I start! We stayed here 4 years ago and it was marvellous.it was thriving ,busy, Bustling .
This time when we arrived we was told check in your car else you’ll get a fine ( great fair enough.)
Then sign in and il take a card off you just in case your room gets trashed! Wow! We’re in our 60’s definitely not rock stars, id rather watch telly than chuck it out of the window!
The chap then said it’s so busy here because of the bank holiday ( Monday) that the dining room may not have space...
