"You couldn't possibly be closer to public transportation and that's this place's saving grace. The room needed to be vacuumed, the surfaces were sticky and I had to wipe them down myself, there was small trash and detritus strewn around and behind the bed - an ear plug, a child's earring, a gummy bear. The breakfast was fine, though the price seemed high for just cold items. Nevertheless, I couldn't speak more highly of the breakfast attendants, who were lovely and efficient."

"Very clean and comfortable property and rooms. Good view. Staff are all very friendly and helpful. However need a wheelchair eye level mirror in bathroom or at desk. Also need another lamp in the room as too dark at night. A shower chair with an back and arms would be nice."

We did like the on premise restaurants and the food was good, although the service was very slow most days. The Spa was nice and provided the services we were looking for. "Very stylishly designed apartments that are new and fresh. I stayed in room 101 which was quite large, beautiful floor to ceiling windows, exposed wood beam ceiling. The location is great - in the heart of lots of restaurants, cafes, and cultural events in Old Montreal. Just be aware this is more of a serviced apartment rather than a hotel - there is no front desk, check in is all online. Access into the hotel and room is by PIN code. There are some some fees for some requests such as...

"Perfect location. Easy to walk everywhere in Vieux Montreal. Very clear directions on accessing the rooms and storing our luggage. It was raining in the morning and the hotel staff brought us two umbrellas to use for the day. Very efficient and a pleasure to have such a bright, modern, clean space for our stay. I will definitely make it my home whenever I visit Montreal again Thank you Maison Sainte Therese!"

"The hotel is excellent. It has great, walkable location in old town and the waterfront. The hotel is exceptionally clean and maintained. All of the staff we met were very helpful and cheerful. They have a happy hour at 5 for 30 percent off drinks and deliver continental breakfast to the room in the morning. The Hotel Uville is truly a 10 out of 10."

"So the coffee is unlimited, even in the middle of the night if you really want. We deeply enjoyed that little luxury and the room itself was lovely. The street/area is quite lively and busy with quite resonant bass music throughout the weekend late night and beyond. If you are a lively person and enjoy that thing then great. If not, you might ask for a room off the street or find a quieter area. Overall we loved it, and would happily stay again."
