"We had a really lovely stay. Great location - walkable to old Montreal, rue St Catherine, and many restaurants and a grocery store. The breakfast served us well and filled us until dinner. Our vehicle didn't fit the parking of the hotel itself but they have an arrangement with a nearby hotel so could accommodate us nicely. It was nice to have a "full kitchen" and the perks of a hotel like a pool and security of front desk. "

"The room was clean though the cement ceiling made it feel dirty. The staff at the front desk were rude. The room had a refrigerator but it only kept things cool, you had to use the fridge by the reception for cold refrigeration. There was no hotel store for snacks or vending machines. We had booked the room for 3 days and also included breakfast. The first 2 days we waited over an hour for our breakfast which was partially burned when it arrived. When I asked the concierge to take the breakfast off the third day because of the negative experience they said no because it was part of the package we had; no offer to figure out how to address the concern just a “sorry not sorry” attitude. The location to old Montreal was perfect and there are lots of great places to eat. That said I would never stay there again nor would I recommend it given the price."

"I stayed 2 nights in a Larger Than Life Size Hotel Room in a Studio Style with ACTUAL 2 queen sized beds and came with a Kitchenette. It actually has a full 6 feet tall refrigerator, a real microwave, a Brand Name Coffee / Espresso Maker and a dish sink. I have never never had in my life booked a Hotel like this type of Condominium Hotel Room before ever. I am very skeptical and undoubt myself if I booked the right hotel. I always booked a hotel with the beds and the bathroom ; that's it. Hotel Faubourg Montreal is ACTUALLY very clean. My room that I have chosen and booked was a Studio, 2 Queen Beds, Kitchenette. The room does NOT have an odor smell and it actually smells fresh and normal. The bathroom is considered so clean and so so many towels provided. Small facial towels, medium towels and the big shower towels. I am very surprised and very pleased. The receptionist puted me in a room viewing and facing Montreal Downtown Skyline with direct looking at The Complexe Desjardins Mall which I really wished for. I also very very lucky that I have met the General Manager of Hotel Faubourg Montreal on the next morning. I actually don't have any money to buy the Charger for my NEW cellphone. In my Wild guess, I asked the young man Receptionist at the Front Desk to borrow a charger to charge my cellphone battery temporarily until they are full. He happens to be the General Manager that morning. He is very helpful and very wise. The Breakfast is Very Superb."
