"The hotel was average at best, but the prices were for a five star"

"The staff was so helpful and friendly. We were greeted with the familiarity of old friends. The owner made us delicious char-grilled burgers while we were at the pool and the GM brought out the fun water games for my daughter to play with. There was a movie night on the lawn with popcorn. Highly recommend this Inn for anyone traveling with family looking for a low-key experience where you feel like Ohana. Plus they have very sweet kitties wandering around the property. "Resort was great, 4-5 pools and a couple of hot tubs to choose from. Rooms are clean, there is some renovation being do r on the property so you will hear construction noise from time to time. Overall, we had a great experience."

"Very old property. Had a room upstairs right next to the stairs. Other guests were dragging suitcases up right next to our open window. Very noisy. Had to keep windows open because it was very warm and there was NO AC! And no elevator for us to get our luggage to our room. Fortunately someone helped us as we are in our late sixties. Tiniest bathroom I’ve ever seen! Room is also very small. No night stand or electrical on one side. Questionable neighborhood. The front desk is behind...

"We had the absolute best stay at the Koa Kea. We loved how the resort is on the smaller side, and you can easily walk out of your room and to the pool, beach, or to some nearby businesses (little fish, puka dog, surf shop..). The staff was super friendly and accommodating as well. I also loved being greeted with real leis, chocolate for our honeymoon, and wine in the room when we arrived! The pool bar had some yummy food, and good drinks. The sunrise yoga was fantastic as well. We stayed here...

"All good, good service. I would love another restaurant option inside the resort, since this area of the island doesn’t offer too much options. They only have one restaurant by the pool, would be very nice to have another option and maybe the closing time be a little bit more late. Everything in the island closes at 9pm, I would love that the resort your staying offer you the option to have food available until 10pm for example. Other than that the resort is beautiful!"

"Hotel Coral Reef was amazing!! The staff were so friendly and accommodating. The view and beach behind the hotel was beautiful. The hotel was in the perfect location with so many food options that are walking distance. I would highly recommend this hotel for a chill and relaxing trip to Kauai."
