"Overall the room was quiet, clean and nicely presented, however it was a bit dark and awkwardly shaped with little room at the foot of the bed due to the odd shape of our particular room (1807). The James is ideally located in the centre of Rotterdam and is walkable from the railway station. Overall good value and would recommend to others."

"Great location , next to supermarket and easy access to tube and tram stops. Restaurant and bar were lovely. We booked family room as needed 2 separate beds and that was only option. Room felt dated and in need of TLC. We did report an issue with our room (toilet seat hanging off) which we hoped would be sorted, but that wasn’t dealt with whilst we were there. Beds were very comfortable. We had a lovely stay, just wished they’d sorted the toilet seat for us."

"Als je houdt van een industrieel uitzicht op de haven, is dit een geweldige locatie. Ik had een kamer met uitzicht op de rivier geboekt en dat viel niet tegen! Goede ligging; de kamer was schoon en ruim. Het enige minpuntje was dat de kamer niet geluidsdicht was. Als je gevoelig bent voor contactgeluiden, neem dan oordopjes mee, dan zit je goed. Verder kan ik het zeker aanraden."
