"I love Hampton Inns. they have everything I need and like. This location was great, right in downtown. I could easily get safe on street parking. For minimal cost. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast is great! The gym is nice and big and had everything I needed."

"I was underwhelmed with this hotel. It is under construction right now, so the lobby layout is confusing and feels very cramped. Our room layout was fine and it was clean, but the bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen. The bathroom door was a pocket door that did not go all the way to ground, thus providing very little privacy. The location is great, but this was billed as one of the nicest hotels in Portland and overall felt very mid-range. "

"Fresh, stylish, and far from a cookie-cutter stay. Moxy Portland Downtown has a modern, loft-inspired feel, comfortable rooms, a great bed, and sleek showers. The location is excellent, but what really stood out was the staff—professional, attentive, and truly welcoming. The atmosphere felt inclusive, relaxed, and easy from start to finish. Easily one of my favorite places to stay in Portland."

"Rooms are decent but you can hear every time a door closes in another room. The toilet is very low and the lids have to be closed before you can flush and they slam each time. The restaurant is closed at night and there are very few nearby options. The checkin area is right by the sliding doors so staff have to use a space heater to keep warm. Overall I would not stay here for “pleasure “ again. "

"We loved our stay here, and would definitely stay again if we're ever in need of a hotel in Portland. Free coffee machine in the lobby at all times. Free breakfast from 6:30-9:30 includes bagels, toast, english muffins, yogurt, fruit, juice, cold cereals. Friendly front desk staff. The room we stayed in was really comfortable, it had a full kitchen complete with a full sized fridge, oven, and dishwasher as well as dishes. "I stay there for the first time last weekend and it was absolutely perfect. Beautiful, spacious room, more toiletries than other hotels. Greeted with a complementary martini! Opening the door for me and bell hop service. I’d give it 10 stars if I could. I will be back."
