"Simpson House Inn is a unique property. We stayed in the Garden Room which was private and comfortable. The Gardens are wonderful and very relaxing. Fresh baked afternoon scones and later appetisers were delicious and unexpected. Home cooked breakfast was also excellent and the staff very pleasant and accommodating. Safe parking on site. We will return."

"The property is absolutely beautiful and peaceful—surrounded by nature, that made me feel truly alive. Everything about the environment was breathtaking and relaxing. However, I did feel that some of the staff in the cafeteria were not as friendly or welcoming toward us compared to how they treated other guests. It was disappointing and made us feel a bit uncomfortable. I can’t help but wonder if it had to do with us being Hispanic. I hope this is something they reflect on, as hospitality...

"This a charming and beautiful old building. The individual rooms and common spaces are inviting, and sitting on the lanai with a view of Honolulu is wonderful! The owners provide a simple but filling breakfast and a coffee station and fridge near the sleeping quarters. All staff were welcoming and receptive to questions. If you’re looking for accommodation away from the Waikiki area, or near UH, this is a great choice. We would definitely stay here again! "
