"It was a unique and wonderful experience. Not the normal avg resort. The staff are exceptionally kind, helpful and genuinely want your experience to be fantastic. I loved falling asleep to the ocean, the variety of food offered and just the relaxed vibe. The resort is the only place on the island. My cabin did not have AC but I was very comfortable with the breezes and fans. Any modern convienance missing was made up with happy hour, beautiful views, and friendly staff. I also recommend...

"I didnt know what to expect when I booked it. Arrival was by bus from the airport to the harbour and boat to the island. The harbour is not easy to maneuvere, and not advisable for anyone with mobility issues. There are 16 cottages and they are small but lovely, mine [number 1] was right on the beach. The staff and boatmen are lovely and nothing is a problem to them, including arranging excursions for you. Food is good and pool area great. Thank you for a wonderful peaceful week."

"Das Al Faro Cosmio Hotel ist eine Unterkunft mit herausragendem Service und einem besonderen Flair. Die Zimmer sind als Bungalows gestaltet, die an einem steilen Hang verteilt und von vielen tropischen Pflanzen umgeben sind. Die Fenster der Bungalows sind nicht verglast, sondern haben nur ein grobmaschiges Gitter, sodass es keine Klimaanlage und nur einen Ventilator gibt. "The property is at the middle of nowhere. It is a really nice place but the roads going there from the airport is terrible. It is very rough road, nothing to do , it is at the middle of farm land. At night , no security, no on call staff to assist for emergencies. We had a leak in the bathroom closer to 10 pm - no one showed up to help us fix the problem."
