Very close to shopping, restaurants and cultural sites. The hotel looks nice and felt safe as has CCTV in the communal areas. Room 6 was a little small and bathroom needs updating as tiles were cracked and shower leaked. Would recommend as good value for a room in the centre.

Very Nice, Clean and Comfortable

Overall the stay was wonderful. If you are the type of person that needs someone at the front desk at all times, this is not the case here. But I will say that when we called the requests, the hotel was on those requests immediately and handled all of our concerns quickly. I would definitely return to this hotel if ever in the area.

Attenzione: le foto non sono completamente veritiere. La camera pareva avere una doccia di dimensioni doppie rispetto a quelle reali. Per il resto, camera carina e struttura bella ma il bagno ha reso il soggiorno veramente orrendo. Piastrelle bianche a terra senza trattamento antiscivolo, incluso dentro la doccia. Le piastrelle per la maggior parte crepate o scheggiate tanto da far sembrare il pavimento sporchissimo. Una mensola mancante con i supporti ancora appesi al muro. Portasciugamani prossimo al distacco dalla parete, una sorta di cassettiera in grigio riflettente che sa di ospedale con tanto di cassetti che rimangono aperti e, dulcis in fundo, la doccia: porta che non si chiude correttamente con conseguente allagamento del bagno e soffione totalmente incrostato. Unica nota positiva il personale molto gentile e e disponibile. Peccato, basterebbe poco a migliorare tutto ciò.

Der Aufenthalt war sehr gut. Wir hatten in der ersten Nacht ein Zimmer zum Innenhof. Sehr ruhig gelegen. Wir haben eine Nacht verlängert und das Zimmer lag zur Straße. In dieser Nacht war der Straßenverkehr sehr laut.

Close to the Action of Palermo

The location of Suite 136 is ideal if you want to walk Palermo and not have to worry about driving. If you do drive, they do have a parking garage which is needed, it comes at a daily rate. As for breakfast, the food is very good, service is friendly and the menu changes a little bit each day. The room we had was small; I wish we had opted for a larger one. And because of the hard surfaces such as the floor and walls, you can hear others as they come in and go to their rooms at night.

Location was great. Service good. Room well decorated. The receptionist was really nice as well as the two ladies who took care of breakfast. Breakfast was nice and good selection. The only problem was there was a sewerage smell from the drain in the shower. The staff just used the shower bath mat each day to cover it up to block the smell. When we complained to reception they just sprayed the bathroom with deodorizer and left the can for us. Hopefully they will get a plumber to look at it. R

Thinks it's something, it really isn't !!!!!

The one and only positive about this hotel, and I mean one and only, is that it is clean. The hotel is extremely hard to find. There is one small sign down an alleyway, and the hotel itself is just seven rooms on the 5th and 6th floors of a block. You gain access either via a long steep staircase or the smallest lift that I have ever seen. Incidentally, I never saw a single fire extinguisher, or any maps of escape routes as you would normally get on the back of room doors. We stayed 5 nights; we booked a “Standard Double” room. It was minute. If you look at the hotel’s website, all the room photographs are obviously taken with an ultra-wide angle lens. Our room was so small that you could only just walk round the end of the bed. The hotel’s answer to this was, “well climb over the bed” then they told me that I was too fat. I couldn’t count the number of times my shoulder banged into the wall mounted television. It would have been small as a single room, but with a double bed in it, you could hardly move without banging into something. Also, the paint was peeling off the window frames. The best bit was, when we checked out, we were having a chat about the very expensive parking, the manager came out and he ran around the desk put his face, literally 4 inches from mine and screamed at the top of his voice at me. I have never, ever seen anything like it. At that point we paid the local tax owing and just left. Don't go anywhere near this place !

The stay was okay. The room was small. We called ahead to advise of our arrival time. No one was there and we could not get in. The breakfast was not exceptional, but rather standard. The staff in the breakfast room which was in another bed and breakfast was not customer-friendly. When I booked for two couples, I selected the option that said "Pay at the hotel". Further into the booking process, I selected "Pay at the property". The couple we were traveling with was, of course, paying their own bill. My husband and I were traveling with euros which we wanted to spend. When we went to check out the owner told us she had already charged my credit card for both rooms. I told her that I had selected to pay at the property. She told me that she had the right to charge me seven days in advance of our arrival. I could not find this option on the Hotels.com site. She told me that if I wanted to pay for the two rooms at that moment,she would be happy to give me a refund which I would probably find on my credit card in about 30 days. I find this behavior shady. There are many other lovely properties in Palermo that are a better choice.

Great location and although the room was small, elegant and chic design. Comfy bed and soft sheets. Fantastic breakfast. Parking in the underground garage expensive and inconvenient.... but then again, you'd have to be crazy to be a driver in Palermo if it's your first time!!!
