"After a bad experience from a booking down the street we booked here as a last minute resort. We were pleasantly surprised and more than happy with our choice to stay here. It’s got the 1950-60’s western feel and the restaurant across the parking lot is to die for. Would definitely stay again if coming through Amarillo."

"Overall a great stay. The common areas were a little dirty and not regularly maintained (i.e., vending machines area on 1st floor with water everywhere, broken glass/plastic on snack vending machine, and generally dirty). Our room was mostly clean, but some areas were filthy. The lamp near the table was covered in dust on the outside and Dr Pepper or something similar on the inside. In other words, it was clean on the surface, but a lot of areas that don't get regular attention. Fresh Popcorn at check in was a nice touch. The continental breakfast was good with a decent selection. My only interaction with staff was a check in, and they were wonderful. We selected this hotel because it was reasonably priced and had good customer reviews. It lived up to both. 8.3/10."

"The facility is going through massive remodel. Looks like they just acquired the location. NO SIGNAGE OUTSIDE! I drove up and was soo confused. The name of the hotel is nowhere! There are shipping containers all over the parking lot. There were just a few vehicles in the parking lot, so I thought they were for workers. I called and was told it was the right place. My room had not been remodeled yet. It definitely needs it, but I’m sure it will happen. There was also a worker with a lift RIGHT outside my window. Pool/hot tub is closed. I used the treadmill and that was fine. Had I known it was such a mess and would have chosen a different location. Should be fine once work is done."

"staff was very helpful. i was having trouble getting my park pass and the desk clerk said he could help me with that and booked my trip through the park. printed up my pass and a map for me .this made my day! room was clean and very comfortable. we just did a 5000 mile road trip and this room was way above any of the other rooms we stayed at in this price range."
