"We stayed in room 17, parrot room. Very large space. TV was obscured by 4 poster bed frame, would be better above mantle. The room is by the front door, and the room above must be wooden floored as we heard a lot of footsteps/lpud thuds on the ceiling. We paid £3 for a parking permit for the W zone, but didnt find a parking space so ended up at the leisure centre - 10 min walk away Bed was comfy, but very soft. Pillows need replacing. But it was clean, comfy, roomy and comms were good re...

"The Nutshell is a lovely little place, perfect for a stay in Whitby. Great location close to the harbour and town centre. Very clean and everything you need, hob, oven and all crockery and utensils. Nice feel to the place, makes you feel like you’re at the seaside. Great communication with the owners. Would 100% stay again. I was there for a week and had a wonderful time."

"Just ten mins walk to town centre, few minute walk to north sea seaside, location is lovely. The room is clean, the bed is comfy, the shower has high water pressure which is good for after walking all day. The only one thing is kettle doesn't clean, some water left there when I check-in."

"The Cleanliness of this apartment was apalling stained dirty carpets, kettle was filthy hairs and dirt just about everywhere and cobwebs and spiders just about in every corner of each room couldn’t wait to leave I’m so pleased we had only booked one night."
