First and foremost, this hotel is not located in a safe area. There was a significant amount of homelessness nearby, and people were openly using drugs outside. Because of this, I ended up staying in my room most of the time. The room itself had several maintenance issues. The sink stopper did not work properly, so water would not drain at all. The bathtub had the same issue, with water pooling around your feet while showering because the drain barely worked. On top of that, there was a horrible, egregious, sewage-like smell coming from the sink, you could smell it whenever you went near the sink.
The AC/heating unit was extremely loud and made it difficult to sleep. The room constantly fluctuated between freezing cold and unbearably hot, and don't even think about using the thermostat on the wall; as it stated it was for"Display Only."
The towels left in the room were dirty. There were also very few accessible outlets in the room. There were none near the beds, and the outlet by the desk was completely occupied by other devices already in the room.
I understand this is an older building, so I was not expecting luxury. However, I absolutely expected better than this. I will not be staying here again."
