Everything was excellent from the moment we checked in. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The breakfast was fresh and delicious. Our room was very clearly and beautifully decorated. We will absolutely be back.
We always stay here when we are in Paris.
The hotel with central garden is eye candy. The staff are outstanding, especially Lara and Jean, and the rooms are charming. Excellent location!
Some wear in the bathroom of my room and only a fan in a Canicule of heat…no aircon on the top floor!
Wonderful breskfast, inner courtyard and super helpful staff. A brilliant location in St Germain.
My fault, I should have searched for a hotel that had AC. Had 2 fans to try to help us sleep. Quaint, nice main level courtyard. Perfectly acceptable breakfast. No elevator, lucky to have a suite on the 2nd floor, .
Really nice hotel with friendly, helpful staff! The breakfast had everything you needed, if I only had a single thing to mention that would be the heat in the room - but we got equipped with two fans in the room already when we arrived (and theres rarely AC in Paris anyways) just a heads up! Otherwise had a lovely stay ♥️
I had a very pleasant stay at Hotel d'Angleterre Saint Germain des Prés. The single room was much bigger than I expected, and the bed was also larger than the average European single, which made it especially comfortable. I did stay during a heatwave so the room was quite warm at night. However, I expected this given the age of the building, and the fan provided made a noticeable difference.
The hotel is in a great location, close to multiple Metro/RER stops and within walking distance of many of the major museums, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.
Breakfast was also very good!
My girlfriend and I were lucky to get a room at this hotel at the last minute. I was familiar with the area from previous trips to and this neighborhood is one of the best in Paris.
The staff were polite, friendly and helpful, the hotel was overall quiet and clean. The location is great for both city experience and sight seeing (we were more interested in the former) and is very safe. You can walk along la Rue Bonaparte with antique galeries on both sides to the Seine.
Although parts of the hotel are arguably a little tired, there is a lot to recommend to people with a sense of history. The location is excellent, staff friendly, rates fare, the breakfast decent. My second stay, and I will go again.
