The room was clean and the staff was helpful. The location was very convenient. The elevator kept going out because people didn’t read the sign that said only two people at once in the elevator. This was not a tourist area. You could tell it was a local beach spot. The neighborhood has quiet a bit of trash but the people were very friendly and we never felt uneasy. The host actually picked us up from the train. Would recommend this area if you want some down time from all the tourist areas!

Highly recommend the Hotel Étoile Saint Ferdinand!!! Check-in with Sylvia was fantastic - a very warm and friendly welcome, and kind, helpful advice and recommendations. Hotel was smallish but beautiful, good amenities including unlimited free water, tea & coffee. Rooms beautiful and location fantastic. Breakfast buffet consisted of hot & cold items and was delicious! Don’t hesitate to book this hotel.
