This hotel is within quick walking distance to the Metro and near the terrific walking boulevard to enjoy the best of being in Paris. The room itself is pretty basic (no wall hangings) and the usual Parisian small, but we were comfortable. We were able to use the elevator. The staff family were very friendly and attentive to our questions and needs and great to get to know. They will collect your room key when you go out each time and return it when you get back. While we were there, there was a movie being filmed right outside and we had to go around at times to not disturb the footage.

Nice staff - shame about the room

This place needs major updating work. Staff are kind and helpful, but the room was cramped, gloomy, noisy and had a bathroom which was very downmarket.

We had a reservatio of two rooms. One of them was in a very bad condition and we think that the clean was not made correctly of that room.

The pictures were very deceiving, it made the room seem larger. There was almost no floor space on the first level with the 2 single beds taking up the space. The spiral stairs to the second level were damaged and unsafe. The loft ceiling was only 5 ft high except in the far corner. There was also no airconditioning, there were a few fans, but not enough plugs to operate them. We only stayed one night and then found somewhere else to stay despite the stay being non refundable

No tenía A.C y hacía muchísimo calor en Paris, es verdad que había un ventilador pero no era suficiente. Necesitaría un lavado de cara, está un poquito deteriorado. Y la limpieza deja mucho que desear.

Hôtel calme et extrêmement bien situé

C’était la 2ème fois que nous dormions à cet hôtel. Il est vrai qu’il est dans son jus ,vieillot et mériterait un sacré rafraîchissement,néanmoins l’hôtel est extrêmement bien situé (bon quartier,très proche du métro et bus). Les propriétaires sont extrêmement gentils et serviables. Alors si comme nous vous recherchez juste une chambre hyper bien située uniquement pour dormir dans Paris vous pouvez y aller sans problème ,au contraire si vous recherchez du confort,du modernisme et un service adéquat passez votre chemin. On a parfaitement bien dormi la fenêtre ouverte (pas de climatisation évidemment),le quartier est plutôt calme et l’hôtel aussi. Pas de salle de petit déjeuner sur place. Si vous voulez un café il y a une cafetière à la réception , sinon des cafés sur le boulevard. Bref un hôtel sans chichi mais qui fait le job!

Confortable, juste quelque problèmes de propreté (noyaux de cerise sur le sol…), peu de sourire du personnel, pas possible de régler la température de la douche. Et le lendemain, je n’avais pas rendu la chambre encore je suis partie 1h et en revenant les clés de ma chambre avaient été données à la femme de ménage. Pas de vol à déplorer mais les affaires ont été touchées (sans que la chambre ait été nettoyée pour autant)
