Park Central Hotel New York
6/10 Okay
"Pros
Great location
Rooms were decent
Cons
During my two day stay there was only one elevator working making the wait time for guests ridiculous. The elevators were small only 6-7 people could fit and that depended on how much luggage each person had. Thankfully i was on the 4th floor but the stairwell was creepy and i didn't feel secure. Not to mention trying to carry suitcases up long flights of stairs. There was no mention of this at check in and no update to guests on when it would be fixed.
The resort fee is a joke. At least most hotels provide bottle water and at $40 thats the least that coukd have been apart of the resort amenities.
The wait time for checking was long, as there were only two agents and there were bus loads of guests."

Sheraton New York Times Square Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Room was clean and nice. Staff was very accommodating."

Pod Times Square
8/10 Good
"This room was the perfect location for seeing a broadway show. Also very close to Times Square. Only thing I wish they had in the room was a mini fridge. There was no way to keep anything cold."

NEW YORKER BY LOTTE HOTELS
8/10 Good
"Nice property but needs some improvements. I've stayed here 3 time so it'sa good hotel. Very convenient to Penn Station. The shower had a mind of its own. You will not have a consistent water temp and it will go from warm to cold to burning hot. Towels are like sandpaper. The toilet paper is ridiculous. I think the hotel challenged the toilet paper company to give them the thinnest t.p. in the world. You're definitely not saving money with the amount of t.p. that is needed because it's worse than paper thin. Fast elevators and friendly staff."

Empire Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"Property is somewhat dated but location is great. "

Millennium Hotel Broadway Times Square
8/10 Good
"The hotel was a nice and clean the bar attached to the hotel could have stayed open but it was closed most of the time we were there. The rooms were nice and cleaned but the furniture could be upgraded the desk had broken drawers. "

Hyatt Grand Central New York
6/10 Okay
"Didn't use amenities however the room was dirty! The shower did not drain so we stood ankle deep in dirty water while trying to shower. The room just looked dirty. Smudges on the wall, dust in the corners, hand prints all over the door....."

Hilton Garden Inn New York Times Square South
10/10 Excellent
"Our stay was great, the staff were very helpful."

Margaritaville Resort Times Square
8/10 Good
"The property is in a great location for Times Square. Very easy to walk to from the train station. The staff operating the hotel day to day were kind. However the staff in the margaritaville restaurant were extremely rude with long waits even with a reservation and subpar food. One evening we asked to sit at the bar and were told it was full so we asked for a table. We were told we couldn’t be seated if we were just drinking, when we intended to eat as well and then were seated at a table so wobbly we couldn’t even sit a cup on it without it spilling. The waiter acknowledged it laughed and never offered to move us when there was plenty of tables open. The next night we made a reservation to avoid this and had a 30 minute wait before we got drinks or acknowledged by anyone. Oh don’t forget the timeshare desk haggling you while you wait on the host to come seat you. After the second night of a rude experience at the restaurant we decided to walk across the street and eat instead and really enjoyed our meal. Some safety concerns during our stay: the elevator wait times were very long during the day, and during our stay were told the stairs were not open? Rooms were small but clean with a great view, and overall a good location and decent stay."
