"Excellent location, right at thr gate of old Mdina. The hotel staff is very friendly amd welcoming. Thr room itself is very clean. The bed was very comfortable and the location is amazing. I highly recommend this hotel. The hotel is just 1 minute walk from the bus terminal which can take you all over Malta ( airport, all the ports, valletta an so on) . "

"The place is unique, every room is decorated with style and attention to detail. The staff was wonderful, even prepared us some sandwiches because we had to leave so early and couldn’t join for breakfast. "We stayed for a long weekend, left Sunday, if you are driving please note that the Sunday market will want your parking space. Just remember to move it before O6:00. The cleaning staff are quick, they came in while we were having breakfast and cleaned and made the bed and were gone by the time we came back."

"I booked the hotel for 2 nights. Birkirkara is probably not the city people would come visit while in Malta, but surely this hotel will attract some. "Property was beautifully renovated! The restaurant and cafe were also excellent. Very convenient after a long day of site seeing. Also great to be outside of busy Valletta. The pool on roof was great offering beautiful views and the staff were extremely helpful. The area was a little chaotic with the beach and kiosks but overall a great experience!"

"This was our 4th time staying at the Radisson Blu Resort & Spa Golden Sands. This resort never disappoints. The entire staff from check-in, check-out, house keeping, maintenance crew etc. are all so friendly & welcoming team. The resort is always immaculate from inside the main lobby, to individual rooms, to outside the resort. It is a very well kept resort and part of the reason why we continue to return. We always include the breakfast. It is one of the best breakfast buffets and spreads with made to order omelet stand, fresh fruit & veggies, multiple juice options, and baked goods. It what we look forward to each morning we wake up. The staff again are so polite, friendly, and super attentive. Another benefit is Golden Sands has their own small private sandy beach, which can be hard to find in Malta. The resort has 3 pools: small kiddie pool, main pool where all are invited to lounge and our favorite the adults only pool (ages 16 yrs & up). The staff does an exceptional job at ensuring those at the pools & beach have the proper daily resort bracelet allowing guests access to these facilities. Highly recommend this resort for all the above reasons stated and more. Thank you for another wonderful time! "
