"Our stay was great from check-in to check out. The building is older but very well maintained and clean. We traveled with our small dog and have to say that they have a very reasonable pet fee of $25. Plenty of grassy areas for pet relief with friendly signs reminding people to clean up after their pets. "Location, location, location. We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful property which is located just minutes away from everything Gettysburg. We stayed in the Kentucky Suite in the historic Welty House, and it did not disappoint. It was the perfect place for our seven night stay. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable and went out of their way to make our visit memorable. The grab-and-go breakfast was a plus. "Horrible housekeeping hung up dirty towels took to front desk gentleman in front desk didn’t think it was a big deal. Asked if I wanted to clean towels and proceeded to walk and get me a couple clean towels. Room was never cleaned properly. Nothing was wiped down when they did come in all they did was hang up the dirty towels. I myself went and got Lysol disinfected wipes, and anti-microbacterial spray and cleaned the room myself talk to staff about getting the sheets changed and the floor is...

Still uses tiny bottles of shampoo and conditioner unlike most hotels that have the big squeeze bottles on the shower walls. Staff was okay, kind of we spoke to them but never greeted us we had to speak first. "
