"We stayed one night at Rabbit Ears Motel and loved it! The convenient location allowed us to easily walk to downtown attractions. We had a wonderful view of the river & the ability to take in nature from our little patio. The hotel is very neat and clean with a quaint, nostalgic vibe and it was fun to return home to the neon Rabbit Ears sign. The beds were very comfortable and the staff was kind, receptive and helpful. I highly recommend this fine little motel with all the comforts of home."
"The hotel is like a 1 bedroom apartment, convenient for families. There is a family of bears that like to hang out at the back of the trees by the hotel! This was very special to us."
"Be prepared to pay extra fees. Daily parking is expensive which is offset with a credit to use at the bar (we don't drink) or e-bikes. We wished we had known about the e-bikes earlier in the week. Everything is expensive in Steamboat Springs. We didn't realize Walmart was only a couple of blocks away. We went to Safeway for a lot of our dinners. This helped save money but we would have done Walmart instead if we had realized how close it was. Take your own pillows. The pillows were not that great in the room."
"Everything that was ready, looked good. It seemed to be a lot of construction crew people living out of the place, but they were quiet and respectful, but the parking lot was full every night."
"We were very happy with our choice and would book this resort again. Everything was super clean. Room was spacious and comfortable. They tell you about a $30/day parking charge when checking in, at that point what are you going to do, because you make your reservation in advance and you are kind of captive. Hotels.com should mention this and factor it in to the per night charge. Overall we were totally pleased."
