"There was no breakfast, it reeked of animal urine and cigarette smoke I had to switch rooms because the first one was dirty it was not clean the floor was sticky, and the second room there was still stains on the walls everywhere that could have been cleaned up mold all around the mirror mold in the bathroom sink questionable white powder remarks on the mirror. Would not recommend!! there was no breakfast either day I was there!"

"when you turn on the light in the bathroom, the noise is so loud and high-pitched that you cannot use the light. You also cannot stay in the bathroom long enough to take a shower because of the insanely loud noise coming from the light. I have photos that I’m happy to post of baby cockroaches in the kitchen area of the room. And finally, the entire floor that I was on reeked of marijuana into my room. "This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at and would not have stayed one night if it wasn’t so late after a long days drive. We did not stay for the second paid night. We should have turned around when we could see the condition of the carpet walking up to the front door. At first we thought maybe they had a flood on the first floor but the hallway carpet thru out the building was blackened with dirt and the odor or urine. "Our stay at the Holiday Inn in Newport News was one of the worst on our US roadtrip. We had to change rooms during our 2 day stay because of non-working door-locks. The entire facility is poorly maintained. Bedlinen are dirty, all family members had bites from bedbugs all over their bodies after our stay there. Rooms are not well cleaned, ACs are dirty and full of dust. Breakfast is average, nothing special. Cannot compare to Holiday Inn Hotels here in Europe, a house like this would have had...
