"We had a delightful stay at the Reynolds mansion. It is a gorgeous historic home with beautiful woodwork and elegant touches throughout. We stayed in the colonel's green room, an excellent choice. The staff was outstanding- friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and available. The food was delicious, with homemade snacks and happy hour treats as well as a hearty breakfast. It was a reasonable drive to our State College event as well- why stay in a boring expensive hotel?"

"Riffles and Runs is a hidden gem right outside of State College, PA!! The proprietors are warm and friendly, establishing a wonderful “homey” feel, while giving you the space you may want/need (typical of a five star hotel feel). If you’re lucky enough to enjoy coffee and/or breakfast - get ready to want to move in permanently!! I’ll come back and highly recommend you make a trip to Riffles and Runs!!!! "

"Place was clean and staff curtious. They were super friendly with my two year old when she came down with me to buy her cookies. The room was nice especially with the blackout blind and curtain combo. The beds were cozy and the shower was spacious"

"It was a quiet little area it was nice and safe not a lot to do but if you do like to walk around and see the scenes you can I think you know what's around there before you go go see pen cave I went there it was beautiful see the animals and stuff wasn't the worst mattress I ever slept on"

"This is an average hotel in a very rural part of Pennsylvania. It's close enough to Penn State to attract visitors. Very outdated but the staff were friendly."
