"Too many kids in the hot tub swimming area. There wasn’t any staff around. There should’ve been under 21 time at the pool and spa and there should be a adult time at the pool and spa."
"Nice property close to lots of stuff (driving). It’s not in the downtown area but convenient, nice and affordable. We’ve stayed at a lot of different places now since our daughter goes to school there and finding something affordable and decent has been a challenge. This will be a repeat.
Nice pool nice, good eating area and breakfast.
Access is internal (not external) which is preferable. I don’t like room access to the outside."
"We loved the view from our unit. We stayed for 4 nights and would recommend bringing a small package if toilet paper. They do provide one extra roll but when I asked for more, housekeeping never left it for us. We managed and overall it was a wonderful stay and would highly recommend it to anyone. Would would stay there again!"
"Receptipn was very friendly and courteous. Rooms were okay. Trouble with the wifi but overall a. Very cute, beautiful flowers and mountain themed peaceful setting."
"We enjoyed a nice week-long stay at the Hillside Inn. Our room was very clean and quiet. The bed was a comfortable Tempur-Pedic style mattress. The Continental breakfast was decent with oatmeal, toast, English muffins, bagels, blueberry muffins, several types of cereal, and yogurt along with milk and juices. We liked the extended hours for breakfast, sleeping in some mornings and getting out early other mornings. There was ample parking but the street to get to the hotel has a lot of potholes and in need of attention by the city. It was a good thing we did not bring our Ebikes because there is no place to secure them and they're not allowed in the rooms (not that we really want to do that) and most hotels don't have accommodations to secure them. We were 5 minutes from the golf course, minutes from some great restaurants and centrally located for abundant hiking opportunities. The individual room air conditioners can get a little loud, but we set the fan to run continuously so it really just created a constant white noise that we adjusted to and could sleep through. We also enjoyed the pool and hot tub - both were well-kept and clean. It was unusually hot the week we were there. While the rooms were cool, the hallways were hot! Our room was on the 2nd floor and while not a problem for us, I don't believe they have an elevator. Guests with mobility issues need to request a room on the first floor. Overall, a great stay!"
"It had a great location. Noise from the music did not bother us at all, I really didn’t t even notice it. The room is small and basic, just a place to sleep which was all we needed."
