"The staff were helpful, the environment was clean, and the stay was generally peaceful with no disturbances. However, we were disappointed with the swimming pool facilities for families with children. There was no separate pool for kids, and the main pool was 1.3 metres deep. Surprisingly, the hotel had designated this pool for family and children's swimming sessions between 7:30 a.m. and 9:30 a.m., which did not seem practical or safe. "The Coal Exchange is a lovely old building which has been turned into a hotel with large bedrooms and bathrooms. The bed was comfortable although there was some wear showing on the headboard/ wall behind the bed(room 143). The bathroom had a large Jacuzzi bath and a rainfall shower. The toiletries provided smelt gorgeous! There were two large windows looking out onto the road beside the hotel which was surprisingly quiet. "Overall, the location is good. However, getting to the hotel is a challenge for drivers. Due to a GPS error, I took an extra turn and was caught by a camera, resulting in a fine. Later, I spotted the brown "Marriott Hotel" signs on the road, directing me to the hotel. When driving, you don't have time to properly check your surroundings. Be extremely careful when driving! "Room was large, comfortable and had everything you need for an extended stay. Contactless checkin instructions were a bit confusing but in the end I got to my room. The room was modern but could have used a deep clean. Hallways were very noisy due to a family in the neighbouring room (otherwise would probably not have been a problem). Onsite laundry room was not as described in the listing - only one washer/drier and no air dryers on loan and the room was not secured (lock broken). The building...
