"Spotlessly clean and walkable to nearby restaurants! Note: Rooms facing the square get quite a bit of night noise from local musicians and performers. Highly recommended, but light or early sleepers may want to request a room away from the front."

"We had a huge apartment with kitchen, living room, and balcony. The space was immaculate and clean. Daily cleaning was also provided. The poolside breakfast was also delicious and picturesque. We loved this location to walk to all the beaches and cliff views. We took a taxi into Lagos (about 1 mile away) a few times and walked back to the apartment after dinner. Enjoyed the pool one afternoon which was quiet and very well maintained. Free, secure parking too!"

"This is a small bed and breakfast with 7 rooms. We liked the common areas (there are several) and the small pool was a nice respite from the hot sun. We were on the ground floor so not able to open windows and it’s a little noisy but not bad at all. Breakfast area was very nice - we could eat indoors or out, and there was a good selection of cold items to choose from. Location is excellent - very close to the restaurants in the old town, but far enough away to be quieter. Walkable to beach,...

"Marina Rio is in a great location right by the marina and a short walk to “old town Lagos”. Everything you need is within walking distance or a short uber ride. There is a parking lot right beside the hotel which is also very reasonably priced, 5 euros/day. There is also a rooftop pool, which is great, if you just feel like taking a bit of time to relax and unwind. Check in was a breeze and the staff are friendly and attentive."

"I’ve stayed at this hotel many times, but this recent trip, I thought the hotel looked very tired. It was totally full, and the receptionist gave me a room on the ground floor, right by the front doors. Very noisy. People banging this door until the early hours. I had emailed them twice before, to try to be accommodated in one of the villas, as I had been in there before and it’s much nicer. I received no reply from either email, and the receptionist was not interested in what I was saying. This...

"All staff were very helpful and friendly throughout our stay; the hotel was simple, but we got everything we needed. There’s a convenience store open till 23:30, so that’s also very nice. A 15- 30-minute walk to the beaches, depending on which one you want. A side note: we asked for an airport transfer service beforehand, and I lost my hat somewhere, so I emailed them before and after my stay, but they don’t seem to be checking their mailbox… so it might be a bit hard for international guests...

"While we enjoyed our stay, this resort is tired and dated. I expected a luxurious resort and did not find that. It just feels old and in need of renovations and improvements. We were very disappointed with the accommodations. The first room we had didn't look anything like the photos so they kindly moved us to a larger villa, but that was of equal vintage and while larger, was further away and isolated. The staff however was very kind and helpful."

The .breakfast just about everything you want , boiled eggs, fried eggs etc. Lovely selection of fruit, pastries plus continental breakfast ,superb.Pool good. Location excellent for marina not too far to old town.bus station 3 minutes.Train station 10 to 15 minutes. We sat outside for breakfast on the terrace where there was seagulls.
