"South Lake Chalet is walking distance from Heavenly Ski Lift (and casinos if that's your thing); also to the beach and to hiking. Both times we've stayed here, the fireplace was lit and the room heated, a welcoming touch on a winter's day and after a long drive, The room is clean, has real dishes, glasses and utensils; microwave and sink. Dog friendly. We'll be back and recommend highly."

"We had a wonderful stay. At first we were like its a little outdated, but once inside, it was really nice. I had a good sleep on a very comfortable bed and the pillows. Oh the pillows! I even told my partner, i wish i looked at the brand of those pillows, coz its hella comfortable. The entire room is so nice and cozy, decorated with nice and very interesting furniture.
