Old building with poor ventilation, smelled musty. Some bugs found. Difficult to contact hotel staff for help or questions bc they use a virtual agent first line, and if you need a person you have to wait 10-20 min for someone to return your message. "The structure has a ton of character and the hotel is very centrally located. However, I would expect a higher level of service from an establishment boasting a Michelin key. For example, when we vacated the rooms and had to store out luggage for a little while longer (as we still wanted to enjoy the city of Florence), they didn't have a safe deposit box for us to leave our passports and valuables at, and we had to carry them with us. This is a basic requirement from any reasonable hotel."

"Really beautiful property and wonderful room. Hotel is immaculately clean and we thought the hotel had been renovated to a beautiful finish. We let the hotel know we were staying for our 10 year anniversary, and a bottle of Prosecco was left in our room with a note, which was extremely kind. A great location to stay in, just across the river. Passcode is provided for front door so can come and go as please. Have booked to stay in again in October!"

"The location was amazing and the room was small but really cute. But We did travel during the heat dome but the ac on the entire floor broke. They didn’t have much to offer for the inconvenience. They offered a fan but it was actually taken by someone else. They had no other rooms and didn’t even offer a discount. I was disappointed by the customer service. It was very hot!!"
